Plan C RTW Fall 2021
Bold color combinations and edgy volumes were the ingredients that Carolina Castiglioni combined in her chic Plan C fall collection.
Castiglioni is not one who follows seasonal trends. She certainly inherited from her mother, Marni founder Consuelo Castiglioni, a refined taste, a preference for vibrant tones and quirky shapes that never constrain the body.

However, in the span of few seasons, the designer succeeded at shaping a very distinctive identity for Plan C that feels younger, less conceptual and more immediate.
This season, Castiglioni introduced more sculptural volumes, giving a touch of boldness to roomy tops with adjustable drawstrings, floral dresses cut in generous silhouettes, as well as technical workwear-inspired overalls with dramatic sleeves. These eye-catching shapes were counterbalanced by the slender, unfussy cuts of suits with Bermuda shorts, fluid shirtdresses and color-blocked blouses tucked into pants, all accessorized with a half belt-inspired detail fastened with white buttons.
Playful knits, including vests, came in kaleidoscopic geometric patterns, while a range of utility jackets and lacquered puffers added an easy-chic touch to functional urbanwear.
With the fall 2021 collection, Plan C unveiled its first footwear collection, produced by manufacturing company HIM Co SpA, the newly formed entity born from the acquisition of Onward Luxury Group by its managers. The lineup, which will distributed by HIM under license, includes minimal slippers, chunky sandals and tasseled pumps, as well as combat boots.
