Playboy casts plus-size model Molly Constable for seductive photo shoot
Think Playboy, think super-slim models sporting bunny tails and rabbit ears (or less). Well, think again. Because after featuring its very first transgender model on the cover, the men’s lifestyle magazine is breaking with tradition once again to feature a stunning plus-size model.
In its latest shoot, Playboy collaborated with rising-star curvy model Molly Constable and photographer Heather Hazzan to prove that sexy has no size boundaries.

And not only did the size 14 beauty absolutely smash it, she did so without wearing any makeup.
Named one of the Vogue Rising Model Stars in 2017, Constable has also walked the runway with plus-size queen Ashley Graham and was recently featured in Harper’s Bazaar and Love.
She’s also making waves on Instagram, with more than 24,000 followers, who were absolutely loving her groundbreaking appearance in Playboy.

“I really want to thank you cause you made me believe I can be pretty with my body because GRL UR AMAZING,” one fan wrote.
“I’m so happy playboy is diversifying itself! We need more curvy babes in it!” another added.
Constable has previously spoken out about the lack of diversity in the fashion industry. “I have had makeup artists throw jabs at me for having stretch marks and them having to cover them up.”

“Your weight is not important. It’s how you act toward people and feel on the inside,” she told the Daily Mail.
But she does believe that beauty standards within the industry are gradually starting to change.
“Everyone is starting to celebrate themselves unapologetically,” she told Vogue India. “At size 14, I didn’t think modeling a possibility.”
It’s more than a possibility, Molly — you’re absolutely killing it!

Featuring a curvy model isn’t the only way Playboy has been diversifying of late. Earlier this year, the famous magazine asked seven older models and former Playmates to re-create their iconic covers in a bid to celebrate aging and remind people that beauty is timeless.
And with a transgender model was on a Playboy cover this year too, we can’t help but give props to the men’s mag for breaking out of its typical Playmate mold and tearing down age, size, and gender boundaries in the process.
