Pregnant Suki Waterhouse Highlights Baby Bump in Apron-style Red Valentino Dress for Emmys 2023 Red Carpet
Pregnant Suki Waterhouse embraced her baby bump on Monday on the Emmy Awards 2023 red carpet in Los Angeles with a look from Valentino’s spring 2023 couture collection.
The actress, best known for her role in “Daisy Jones & The Six,” arrived in a red drop-waist gown featuring an apron-style bodice and a full gathered circle skirt with a train. The dress was adorned with a large bow on the front waistline and designed with deep pockets in the side seams.

On the red carpet, Waterhouse told host Laverne Cox that the dress, originally shown on the runway with a more narrow front panel and waistline, was redesigned by Valenino to fit the star’s baby bump.
While her look was unique, this is not the first time Waterhouse has arrived at an event in a striking shade of red. In late December, the actress attended The Fashion Awards 2023 in a burgundy gown from the H&M Studio Holiday capsule collection. The dress featured a large organically shaped rosette on the pleated skirt and a strapless neckline. Waterhouse styled the look with a pair of strappy heels in the same shade.
The Primetime Emmys, presented by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, honor excellence in the television industry. Comedian Anthony Anderson hosts the 75th annual ceremony, which is broadcast on Fox. Although the awards show typically takes place in September, the 2023 Emmys were postponed until January due to the concurrent Screen Actors and Writers Guild strikes.
