'Time will tell': Donald Trump speculates on infant daughter's future breast size in 1994 Robin Leach interview
Most parents probably wouldn’t talk about their baby daughter’s potential breast size. But most new parents aren’t Donald Trump.
After Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous host Robin Leach died this week, his 1994 interview with Donald Trump has reentered the conversation. At one point in the interview, Trump spoke about his daughter Tiffany, who was one year old at the time.
“I think that she’s got a lot of Marla,” Trump said of Tiffany, referring to her mother, Marla Maples. “She’s really a beautiful baby, and she’s got Marla’s legs.”
That’s a little uncomfortable already, but the next part of his statement is even more cringeworthy. “We don’t know whether she’s got this part yet, but time will tell,” Trump said, gesturing to his chest as if to speculate about his daughter’s breasts.
His comments came in response to a question Leach asked about what Tiffany had inherited from each of her parents. Trump’s statements can be heard in the video below.
As Inside Edition pointed out, the last time the interview went viral was in 2016, when Trevor Noah talked about it on The Daily Show. “We know for sure that there’s no female too small for Trump not to reduce her to her body parts,” Noah said on the show.
For what it’s worth, Leach actually commented on the video in 2016. The same year, he called the critical responses to Trump’s statements “an overreaction” in a conversation with Inside Edition.
Still, plenty of people seem to agree that criticism of Trump’s statements is justified. Many who were seeing the video for the first time called his words “disgusting” on Twitter.
24 years ago Trump spoke about his baby daughter Tiffany. This video only recently surfaced and is one of the most disgusting things I've seen in my life.

#MyFirstClue that Trump was a disgusting piece of filth was when he talked about his baby daughter Tiffany and wondered if she would get her mother's boobs. https://t.co/wdBHqad5dV

Robin Leach has died. Here he is interviewing Trump in 1994, during which Trump pondered whether his 1 year old daughter Tiffany would have her mother’s breasts https://t.co/qwSaLdbBAr

The Daily Show pointed out the video in April 2016. That was months before the presidential election — which means that plenty of people likely heard about Trump’s remarks and still voted for him. And all of this came after Trump commented in 2006, “I’ve said that if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps, I would be dating her.”
Leach’s death this week may be bringing Trump’s interview with Leach to some people for the first time. But Trump’s history of sexist comments — even about his own family members — isn’t new.
