Princess Beatrice's Engagement Photos Were Taken by Princess Eugenie
With every royal engagement announcement comes a stunning engagement photoshoot, and that's exactly what happened with Princess Beatrice and her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. After announcing their plans to marry in 2020 this morning, the couple also released sweet portraits to mark the big news. It turns out one of their photographers was taken by Beatrice's younger sister, Princess Eugenie.
Images taken by the royal show Beatrice, in a floral dress, and Edoardo, in a white shirt and black trousers, embracing outdoors. Another shot shows the bride-to-be cuddling up to her future husband, with a clear view at her diamond engagement ring.
Eugenie, who just married Jack Brooksbank last October, shared the photos on her Instagram with a sweet message to "Beabea," her nickname for Beatrice. "I'm so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be," she wrote.
More dramatic portraits were taken by Misan Harriman, who shared the images on Twitter. They show the couple cuddling up outdoors and exchanging silly faces at a table.
"Everything clicks when they are together and that’s exactly what my lens captured. It was an honor to observe and document such love," Harriman tweeted. "Massive Congratulations to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Beatrice of York on your wonderful news!"
Beatrice's mother, Sarah, Duchess of York, shared one of Harriman's images on Twitter along with a close-up of her daughter's stunning engagement ring.
Mozzi and the princess became engaged in Italy earlier this month.
