Princess Charlotte Turns Six With a New Photo Captured by Kate Middleton
Princess Charlotte is almost six years-old! Her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, released a new photograph of the little royal to mark the occasion. Prince William and Kate Middleton will not be posting the photo on their social media channels, however, because they are participating in a social media boycott supporting English soccer teams.
The Duchess of Cambridge captured the picture this weekend, at the family's home in Norfolk. The little princess looks just like her mom and dad, flashing a smile for the camera. She sports a floral print dress with buttons and a Peter Pan-style collar. Kate often takes the photos of her children shared for milestones like birthdays, and has become something of a royal family photographer over the years.
This image comes after the family released a rare video last week. In the adorable montage, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, frolic around their country home, Anmer Hall. The group runs throughout the property, plays on the beach, and roasts marshmallows, all while wearing perfectly autumnal clothing (the video was shot last fall).
The Duchess was also recently spotted shopping in London with Princess Charlotte and Prince George. The group reportedly ventured into a stationery store. The Cambridges have had quite the busy few weeks, with William and Kate's anniversary, Prince Louis' birthday, and now Princess Charlotte's. Perhaps the family was picking out some celebratory presents!
