Princess Eugenie Has an "Unbreakable Bond" with Meghan and Harry, Despite All the Drama
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren't exactly on good terms with the rest of the royal family at the moment (that is...an understatement), but they've remained close to one person throughout all the drama: Princess Eugenie.
Harry and his cousin have been close since they were kids, and she even visited him and Meghan in Los Angeles following their decision to step down as senior working royals. More significantly, though? Footage from Eugenie's trip to see the Sussexes was included in their Netflix docuseries, Harry & Meghan, emphasizing their closeness amid the couple's strained relationship with the other royals.
And while Eugenie and Harry go wayyyyy back, apparently she and Meghan are also tight. “Eugenie and Harry and Meghan have an unbreakable bond,” a source explains to Us Weekly. “They’re in regular communication and FaceTime at least once every couple of months with the children.”
Meanwhile, an insider previously told the outlet that Meghan and Eugenie are “sort of an unlikely pair, but remain in contact," and have "stayed friends and remain friends.”
While Eugenie is clearly close to the Sussexes, she also appears to be tight with the Cambridges (despite a bit of housing drama earlier this year). Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank supported Kate Middleton at her carol service earlier this month, and Eugenie even posted some solo pics of Kate at the event on Insta—which some fans took to be a declaration of support for the Princess of Wales amid the Sussexes' docuseries.
TBD on when Eugenie and the Sussexes will see each other again, but Harry is rumored to be visiting England in the New Year to promote his book, so...stay tuned.
