Priscilla Presley Finally Settles Dispute Over Lisa Marie's Trust

The legal drama over Lisa Marie Presley's estate has finally come to an end, new reports reveal.

Priscilla Presley has officially settled the dispute over the fate of her late daughter's trust, which was left in the hands of Lisa Marie's eldest children, Benjamin and Riley Keough, the former of whom died in 2020.

Following Lisa Marie's death at age 54 in January, Priscilla has been battling it out in court with granddaughter Riley, who gained all control of the late singer's estate, which includes Elvis' famous Graceland mansion, as well as a stake in Elvis Presley Enterprises.

On Tuesday, May 16, Priscilla agreed to a settlement, which granted the 77-year-old an undisclosed sum. According to TMZ, sources say the number is somewhere in the millions.

Few details have been revealed about the exact terms of the deal, though attorneys for both sides confirmed that they plan to file a motion to seal the settlement.

Now, spokespeople for the family appear to be making it clear that the legal drama is now behind them.

"They have reached a settlement. Families are happy," Priscilla's lawyer, Ronsen Shamoon, told reporters outside court, per CNN. "Everyone is happy, unified together, and excited for the future."

Riley's attorney, Justin Gold, also made a statement, insisting that the Daisy Jones and the Six actress is "very content" with the situation.

"[Riley] would not have agreed to the settlement if she was not happy with it," Gold added on Tuesday, per PEOPLE.

The next hearing and motion for approval is scheduled for Aug. 4.

As Parade previously reported, Lisa Marie died unexpectedly after going into cardiac arrest at her home in Calabasas, Calif., on January 12. She was rushed to the hospital and died later that day after reportedly suffering a second cardiac arrest.

Amid the court proceedings over the Promenade Trust, the fate of Lisa Marie's youngest two children, 14-year-old twins Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love, was also decided in court last month, with full custody going to Lisa Marie's ex-husband Michael Lockwood.
