Priyanka Chopra Left the Most Romantic Comment on Nick Jonas’s One-Year Dating Anniversary Tribute
Nick Jonas is nothing if not romantic. In honor of his first date with Priyanka Chopra one year ago, the singer waxed poetic about his wife on Instagram for all the world to see.
Accompanying a photo of the couple from their recent red carpet appearance in Cannes, Jonas wrote, “One year ago today I went to go see Beauty and the Beast at the Hollywood bowl with a group of friends. One of those friends was the woman that would become my best friend, my confidant, my muse, my beautiful wife. I am so grateful for our journey together so far. You make me smile every day and you inspire me to be the best version of myself. I am honored to be your husband. I love you.”
Of course, Chopra’s comment was just as lovely.
“The most amazing thing that ever happened to me is you. I love you babs,” she wrote.
The couple had a relatively whirlwind romance starting with Jonas sliding into Chopra’s DM’s and suggesting a date. As the couple recalled in an interview for Vogue, they got together for drinks a week before their 2017 Met Gala date. Chopra invited Jonas back to her apartment where they continued talking. Still, Jonas didn’t make a move.
“We hung out for a couple of hours,” Chopra said. “He patted my back before he left.”
It wasn’t until a year later that they went on their first official date, followed by an engagement two months later. The couple wed in an elaborate, multi-day celebration in India last December.
The rest, as they say, is history.
