Peter Weber Says He Made “Dumb Decisions” on ‘The Bachelor’ Because Dating Too Many Women Overwhelmed Him

Welp, Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor is getting ready to wrap up pretty soon, and I’m not sure if you noticed but...some people aren’t exactly thrilled with all the choices he’s made. I won’t spell it out for you, but if you know, you know.
Because some viewers have been dragging him, Peter is now trying to defend himself and credits his impaired judgement to being overwhelmed by dating so many women at one time. Somehow, I am finding it a little hard to empathize with him!
“It’s a lot harder watching this back for me. It’s way harder than I ever thought it would be,” Peter told former Bachelor Nick Viall on his Viall Files podcast. “I’m making decisions in the moment based off the information I have. I’m not making dumb decisions on purpose. I know everyone thinks I am and everyone thinks I’m being indecisive. And yeah, there was a lot of indecision, but that’s what you get when you date so many women at once.”
And of course, since this is a free country after all, Peter added that he “made it very clear that the women didn’t have to be there.” (Side bar: Does he really believe that any of the women would dip out and pass up on their chance to be on national television???) “If they didn’t want to be there, I didn’t want them there,” he explained. “I only want someone here that actually wants to pursue something with me.” Cue “For the Right Reasons,” by Bachelorette Desiree feat. That ASIDE, I honestly can’t wait to see who takes home the final rose. What a season!
