Queen Elizabeth, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and More Royals Wish Kate Middleton a Happy Birthday
The Duchess of Cambridge is celebrating her 38th birthday, and her royal family members are making sure to commemorate the occasion.
The main royal family Instagram account, which represents Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip (as well as several other royals, like Princess Anne, Prince Edward, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, who don't have their own social media channels), posted a sweet slideshow this morning. Nearly all of the photos show Kate alongside the Queen.
Kate's in-laws, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, also shared a message on their Instagram. The four-photo slideshow has images of Kate with Camilla, Charles, and Prince William.
And finally, Kate and William's own account, @KensingtonRoyal, shared a never-before-seen photo of the Duchess to mark her big day. Kate can be seen enjoying some time outdoors, in a casual yet stylish look. "Thank you everyone for all your lovely messages on The Duchess of Cambridge’s birthday!" the caption reads.
Although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have plenty of other things on their minds today, the couple still remembered to leave a comment on Kate's birthday post. "Wishing a very happy birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge today!" it reads.
It's not known how Kate is spending her big day, but in the past, she's let slip a few details about how her family celebrates birthdays. When Kate is planning a party for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, or Prince Louis, she recently revealed on A Very Berry Christmas Special that she's the one to bake the sweets. "I love making the cake," Kate told British culinary icon Mary Berry. "It's become a bit of a tradition that I sort of stay up until midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing. I make far too much, but I love it."
