Questions We Want Answered in Season 2 of "The Society"
The Society has kept fans on their toes throughout the entire first season as its characters tried to figure out the mystery of where they are and what lead them there. While it has slowly become a story about their survival in this mysterious new place that looks awfully familiar to them, the big mystery of why and what they're doing there is still fresh in viewers' minds.
*Spoilers for The Society season 1 below!*
The end of the first season has left a lot of questions unanswered about the kids of New Ham and what might be happening next to them. While the question of how they got there and why they were taken from their town is still the biggest one of the entire series, there are a couple of other things that were still left up in the air and fans hopeful for a second season to get their questions answered.
Will the kids of New Ham learn how to farm?
With Grizz and his team back with the news that they have officially found land that is suitable for them to start farming, it would make sense for the kids of New Ham to finally learn how to do so before they run out of resources. However, with winter just beginning, things might end up getting tougher for them before they can officially start to farm and grow more food.
Who is Eden's father?
Becca has been very hesitant to reveal who Eden's father is. While she hasn't given any clues on who it might be, there's a chance that it could be someone who is currently in New Ham with them. It's also likely that whoever the father is doesn't know that Eden is actually his child, since she has been lying and saying that Sam is the dad. So who is it and why is she keeping it a secret?
Will they ever find out who took them?
While it seems like Pfeiffer does have a lot to do with the kids suddenly ending up in a copy of their town, he definitely needed some help to drive all those buses to the new location and make sure that none of the kids knew what was really happening. So who is working with them and is there someone else behind this big plan?
Do the parents know more than they're letting on?
The season 1 finale left viewers with a shocking final view of a plaque that is put up in West Ham's library in honor of the kids who went missing. While it's not surprising to see that the parents have honored their children, it's still kind of suspicious that they all think that they're dead and not just missing. Do they know something that they're not letting on? Or are the kids really dead and they just don't know it yet?
Will the town find out about Campbell's coup?
The kids of New Ham were left confused when Lexie and Harry said that Allie and Will tried to rig the upcoming mayoral election to stay in power. However, what they don't know is that Campbell is really behind the entire plan and that he is manipulating Lexi and Harry with some information that he has on the both of them.
Right now, it looks like Grizz and his team and the only ones that don't entirely believe Lexi and Harry's story, so they might be the ones to help Allie and Will try to get back in power. Also, Lexie doesn't seem too happy to hear that Grizz found suitable land to farm on, which means that their chances of getting extra supplies before the winter gets harsh will be slim.
Will there be another election?
Allie didn't even want there to be one in the first place and it looks like she had a good reason to. After Campbell used Lexie and Harry to lie to the town and get control of everything, it seems like things will get worse in New Ham. So will they have another election after they take down Campbell and his team? Or will they not trust anyone in the town and start their own subsections, which can lead to chaos? Only time will tell.
