Ready to Partyyyyyyy? Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph Are Getting an Animated TV Show
Get ready to Wiig out: Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph are getting their very own animated comedy on Fox.
The network just gave the green light for 13 episodes of Bless the Harts, an adult animated series (think Bob's Burgers and Family Guy) starring Wiig (Wonder Woman 1984), Rudolph (Forever), Jillian Bell (Rough Night) and Ike Barinholtz (The Mindy Project). According to Variety, the show "follows a group of Southerners who are always broke as a joke, and struggling for the American dream of status and wealth. What they don’t realize is that they’re already rich, in friends, family and laughter." Just imagining the former SNL duo's southern accents is giving us lifeeeee.
The show is set to premiere during the 2019 season, so we don't have to wait too long before we're laugh-crying over a cartoon (with no shame whatsoever).
