Reality star Kim Zolciak-Biermann slams 'miserable' plastic surgery critics reacting to her makeup-free selfie
Kim Zolciak-Biermann isn’t known for biting her tongue. It’s little surprise, then, that the reality star — who was a cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta before getting her own Don’t Be Tardy spinoff — has a few choice words for people commenting on her new selfie.
On Thursday the 40-year-old TV personality posted a photo that showed her going without makeup after an IPL (intense pulsed light) treatment at the spa. IPL is used for a variety of beauty treatments, from hair removal to restoring sun-damaged skin.
Just one of those days 🙈 my chest and face are glowing though thanks to @napsmedspa IPL 🙌🏼😍

Though Zolciak-Biermann was delighted with her “glowing” complexion, some commenters couldn’t resist taking a few jabs at her appearance. Though she has insisted that her nose is the result of careful contouring with makeup as opposed to plastic surgery, the Bravo star has copped to using fillers and having her lips “done.”
“I’ve done my lips,” she told Entertainment Tonight in 2016. “I’ve been getting Botox since I was young, for migraines initially, and now it’s the obvious reason. I’ve had my boobs done. I fixed my hernia and had a tummy tuck at the same time.”
People commenting on her bare-faced selfie targeted her full lips — and Zolciak-Biermann was quick to clap back.
“I am so sorry about your allergic reaction,” read one comment. “Take some Benadryl.”
Zolciak-Biermann’s response: “I’m so sorry you are a miserable b****.”
“Did you get stung by a bee or a wasp?” snarked another troll. “Such a shame because you’re such a beautiful woman.”
“And you are a mother?!?” Zolciak-Biermann shot back. “Pretty s***** example!”
She also told a critic who said she should “stop with the lip fillers” to “stop with the stupid comment.”
When another follower accused her of deleting “negative” comments, the mom of six wrote, “Excuse me? I have daughters that don’t need to see these nasty comments, and what’s sad is you find it funny! Look in the mirror, sweetie.”
Trolls, be warned: This woman won’t stand for any shaming.
