Real Housewives Star Bethenny Frankel Reveals Her Secret Side Hustle, and People Are Shook
Bethenny Frankel can do more than spruce up your Skinnygirl cocktail, she'll refresh your home too. Her Bravo show Bethenny & Fredrik showed off her real estate chops, but it's her stunning interiors that have landed her an Architectural Digest feature and a circle of friends dying to see what she'll put her stamp on next.
The Real Housewives of New York star took to Instagram yesterday asking fans to share their #sidehustle, revealing hers along the way.
"My #SideHustle is design and home decor -- what’s yours?", she wrote under a selfie in her chic Soho apartment.
The 4,000-square-foot NYC hideaway is full of Bethenny's signature style, including neon signs, multiple fireplaces and an office that doubles as a library. While it wasn't her first flip, the stunning renovation had friends and fans buzzing when they saw the full reveal on RHONY, setting off a series of design interviews that cemented her status as a decorator.
Bravo.com asked her to spill on the chic details in a recent article all about her daring approach to design. Her tips? Don't shy away from color and always choose marble if you can.
Bethenny's design talents are also expanding beyond Manhattan's five boroughs. Bravo has confirmed her purchase of a nearly $3 million mansion in the Hamptons that was originally built in 1910. The seven-bedroom, New England-style home is reportedly the envy of her friends and was even featured in a recent episode of RHONY (yes, the one Ramona Singer hated because it was on a highway). Until Bethenny goes full Joanna Gaines and gives us the decor show fans want, we'll be watching RHONY for any new looks at her latest projects.
