Make room for booms: Fireworks shows to see in the Beaver Valley and Pittsburgh
It's fireworks season, and there are plenty of places to see professional fireworks in the Beaver Valley.

Beaver County Boom!
June 29 is the date for Beaver County Boom!, PUSH Beaver County’s signature community event celebrating the arrival of summer.
The daylong celebration, with community events and concerts in Bridgewater, Rochester and Monaca, plus many people lining River Road in Beaver, all lead to a fireworks extravaganza by the famed Zambelli Internationale lighting up the nighttime sky starting at 9:45 p.m.
The fireworks launch site is at the convergence of the Ohio and Beaver rivers. People can tune into Beaver County Radio for a choreographed musical experience.

Ellwood City
The Ellwood City Arts, Crafts, Food & Entertainment Festival will include a fireworks show at 10 p.m. June 30.
People can watch the show at Helling Stadium.
The festival takes place June 28-30 at Ewing Park.
Ambridge
July 6 at Walter Panek Park, with fireworks set to erupt at 9:40 p.m.
The park opens at 5 p.m. Due to the limited parking, multiple shuttle buses will operate from the Ambridge Regional Center & Waste Management site.
The entertainment:
5-9 p.m.: Beer & Wine Garden with Fermata Brewing Company and HarkinsMill Wines. Alcohol is to be consumed within the fenced-in area.
5-9 p.m.: vendors including Al’s Pizza, Ambridge Youth Baseball, Annie Lee’s Southern Kitchen, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream, Fritzy’s Bistro, Little Athens Catering, Little Bear And Bean Boutique, Lees Funnel Cakes, Los Gingos Tacos,Mo’s She Shed, Slurp-N-Burst Boba Tea, Tim’s Extreme Dogs, Twisted Lemonades and Vocelli Pizza.
5-9 p.m.: Bounce house, inflatable axe throwing and Jumbo Connect 4.6-9 p.m. Face painting.6:15-9:15 p.m.: Casanova & The Divas pop and rock performance.
Rain date will be July 7.
Midland
First comes a car cruise taking place at 4 p.m. July 3, with an outdoor carnival at Lincoln Park from 5-10 p.m. Musical entertainment comes from Cassie & Dave and Dr. Zoot.
Midland then holds its annual Independence Day extravaganza featuring fireworks on July 4 at 10 p.m. The annual parade begins at 10 a.m., with the carnival taking place that day from 4-10 p.m. Live music from Dead Roots at 12:30 p.m., Mojo Dia at 3 p.m., Izzie at 5 p.m., Bill Henry with Kim Tavar at 6 p.m., Casanova & The Divas at 8:30 p.m. and Rudy Zetz singing "Proud to Be an American" at 10 p.m.
The carnival continues 5-10 p.m. July 5 with Eldorado Band at 7 p.m., then 5-10 p.m. July 6 with a reunion of the original Brighton Boys at 7 p.m.
The neighboring Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center hosts the annual Midland Arts Council Show, with hours set for 6-8 p.m. July 3; 1-7 p.m. July 4; and 6-8 p.m. July 5-7.

Moon Township
Moon Park hosts a family-friendly celebration on July 4 with food, family fun and entertainment, all leading up to fireworks.
Hours are 4-10 p.m. with free admission.
Dogs are not allowed in the park during this event.
Hopewell Township
Hopewell Township saves its fireworks display for the annual Hopewell Parkfest, July 13. The fun-filled day of live entertainment, attractions, amusements, food and fireworks begins at 3 p.m. at Hopewell Community Park.
Independence Township
Independence Township's Day of Celebration on July 13 culminates with fireworks.
The event takes place outside the Independence Township municipal building from 5-10 p.m. Food vendors include the Hills Snack Bar.
Pittsburgh
The City of Pittsburgh Independence Day Celebration takes place 4-10 p.m. July 4, featuring free family activities, music, food and entertainment in Point State Park, Liberty Avenue and the North Shore.
The main attraction is an Independence Day Fireworks show at 9:35 p.m., lasting for 25 minutes. Viewers can watch the fireworks from home on WPXI-TV.
