Rosamund Pike Gets Dramatic in Peep-Toe Platforms at Golden Globes 2024

Rosamund Pike arrived at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday wearing an exciting pair of jet-black peep-toe platforms.

Pike was nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in any Motion Picture for “Saltburn” at the Golden Globes and has been a brand ambassador for the watch brand IWC Schaffhausen since 2016.
The actress wore a pair of black satin shoes featuring a chunky block heel at an estimated 4 inches, a thick front ankle strap and a platform base. The heels were adorned with a simple pleated peep toe that exposed Pike’s matching black toenail polish. The shoes, simple and elegant, grounded Pike’s heavily detailed and wildly accessorized dress.
With her shoes, Pike wore an ankle-length black gown from Christian Dior’s fall 2019 couture collection. The dress, belted at the waist, was made entirely of lace, with only a sheer lining forming the gown’s shape around the star. The lace crept up onto Pike’s decolletage and continued down her arms, stopping just above the elbow.
A matching lace veil was made and pinned to Pike’s long blonde hair, which was neatly styled in a sleek bun in the center of her head. The star kept her makeup minimal with soft rosey tones used in her blush and lip colors. Pike’s makeup emphasized her bold brows, but was kept natural around her almond-shaped eyes.
The Golden Globe Awards celebrate the top performances across film and television. This year’s ceremony is hosted by comedian Jo Koy and features a star-studded afterparty presented by Billboard and Rémy Martin. Viewers can watch the Golden Globes live on CBS and stream on Paramount+. Ahead of the ceremony, WWD will host its first real-time red carpet digital show, hosted by Jeannie Mai highlighting the looks from the red carpet arrivals.
