Diplomats from around the world are in Japan today to celebrate the enthronement of Emperor Naruhito, and included in that group of leaders are members of royal families from across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. So naturally, given the number of royals in the room, more than a few tiaras were present at this evening's white-tie banquet. Read on to see the best sparkly toppers of the night.

Following her husband's traditional enthronement ceremony, Empress Masako arrives at the Imperial Palace to attend the court banquet. She appears to be wearing the grand Meiji Tiara, as her mother-in-law did at Crown Prince Akihito's enthronement ceremony in 1990. According to royal jewelry blog The Court Royal, the Meiji Tiara is "one of the most important Western-style jewels in the imperial vaults."

Queen Letizia paired her grand topper with a bright dress covered in embroidery for tonight's events. In addition to tiaras, many of the royals are also decked out in honors and accolades. In short, there's no shortage of bling at the enthronement celebrations today.
