Ruby Rose Uses Wardrobe Malfunction to Show Off DIY Skills

Ruby Rose knows how to make lemons out of lemonade. The actress suffered a wardrobe malfunction backstage at Late Night With Seth Meyers, and instead of demanding new designer duds, she improvised.

“When you are so excited to do @sethmeyers and there is a massive wardrobe malfunction so you make an outfit in the green room,” the actress, DJ, and model captioned a photo of herself wearing a promotional shirt from the show.

The front of the gray T-shirt read, “Late Night With Seth Meyers” — not the most fashionable slogan, but beggars can’t be choosers — and on the back, she wrote a message to her mom. “Hi mum,” she scribbled, adding a heart.

The shirt was given a fashionable upgrade with rips and rolled-up sleeves, which we’re guessing was the edgy actress’s doing. Rose tucked the T-shirt into her ripped black jeans, which had leather patches on the knees.

“It looks like I just had a knife fight right now,” Rose said as she sat down next to Meyers. “You wore my shirt and got it all cut up,” the talk show host responded. “I borrowed it to you and I said, ‘Please don’t get it cut up,’ and there you go,” he joked. “I know, and you still let me on the show,” Rose said.
