Russell Simmons Called Out By Kimora Lee Simmons as Family Feud Intensifies

Kimora Lee Simmons stood her ground against her ex-husband, Russell Simmons, on social media, slamming him for his "abusive" actions and saying, "Enough is enough."

While the 65-year-old music producer has been facing a variety of issues over the past few years, including accusations of sexual misconduct by 18 women and a lawsuit against Kimora claiming she stole stocks from him, he recently lashed out at his ex-wife and kids seemingly in response to a Father's Day post.

The couple's 23-year-old daughter Ming posted a photo of herself and her mother on a past Instagram Story, via People, and wished Kimora a happy Father's Day.

Russell soon posted to his own account an image that said, "Stop telling fathers they should have fought harder to see their children & start asking mothers why he had to fight at all.”

He then shared a quote that read, “The father you have is the perfect father for the evolution of your soul and the lessons that you needed to learn in this lifetime.”

Soon after, Kimora took to her Instagram Stories to share a message about Russell's actions. She wrote, "I'm so sorry to have to do this. But this man has been threatening my kids' lives. I'm hearing so much more now. We won't be bullied threatened or afraid."

"Leave my kids alone," she continued. "This narrative of attacking the only caregiver, the only parent in the home with the kids, the mom, AND the kids for one's own shortcomings and embarrassments is dead. Dead. Dead."

Kimora also called Russell "abusive," saying, "This is how you manouver [sic] with the women all around you. Your threats and lies and intimidation manouvers [sic] and tactics are sad. Stop it please. Your own flesh and blood? Enough is enough."

But even the couple's kids felt like they needed to defend their mother and share some of their experiences with Russell as a father.

Their younger daughter Aoki, in particular, posted a lot about her father on her Instagram Stories, including text message exchanges that she said are between the two of them, and a clip of Russell yelling at her over a video call.

Aoki captioned the video, via People, "This is not someone who will accept help. This is just one screen recording sorry I don’t always remember to press 'record' when he calls my friends, my boyfriend, anyone, to get a chance to threaten and curse and go crazy."

In the text messages, Aoki mentioned the legal troubles between her parents, saying, "Everytime I spoke to you you would yell and scream about a legal situation that I can't even respond to because I AM NOT INVOLVED, I am your child, not your lawyer your ex wife any of it. I can do nothing. You yell at me like it's my fault."

The texts also included messages from Russell in which he claimed that Kimora stole his money and insulted her.

Aoki also discussed the possibility that Russell might have mental health issues, saying, "Some of us do think he's mentally ill or experiencing something like dementia, he really acts like he hates and does not know his children frequently."

She ended her comments by noting that Russell used to be "the best dad ever and a great co parent. He and my mom were best friends."

"We all defended him against anything, and then he suddenly turned on ANYONE who will let him lash out. It's a really just terrifying change to watch," she concluded.

After Kimora and his kids' shared their thoughts on social media, Russell shared a photo of Aoki and Ming on his Instagram with the message, "God is testing you a little bit, it’s ok, be strong. . . they are called growing pains . . . as you know, we grow through adversity and struggle . . . you read my books and heard me preach your whole childhood . . ."

"Reach back to old lessons and remember to remember 'smile and breathe' ?? 'smile and breathe' . . . you are the watchers of this world . . . so let go . . . be at ease . . . God is driving and he is working on you ??," he continued.

The 65-year-old also included a short apology in regards to his past treatment of them, writing, "DEEPLY sorry for being frustrated and yelling . . .but know this . . . there are no conditions . . . for sure i love you guys more than i love myself."
