Black and white hues have taken awards season by storm: look no further than the winners’ circle at the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday in Los Angeles.
Monochrome hues had a big moment on the runways of Gucci, Chloé and Carven during the spring 2024 season, while pared-down palettes were popular among attendees at the recent Golden Globes and People’s Choice Awards.

Cillian Murphy
Cillian Murphy, who received the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role for “Oppenheimer,” suited up in a pinstriped Saint Laurent ensemble consisting of a double-breasted peak lapel blazer and pleated trousers. He also added on an Omega watch.
Lily Gladstone
Gladstone’s custom Armani Privé gown featured a bedazzled fan motif at the neckline and layers of red ombre fringe. The “Killers of the Flower Moon” actress scored the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role.
Ayo Edebiri
Ayo Edebiri sported a gingham off-the-shoulder Luar gown from the label’s fall 2023 collection. “The Bear” actress took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series.
Jeremy Allen White
Jeremy Allen White, the winner of Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series for “The Bear,” paired a cream Saint Laurent suit with a diamond brooch and watch by Tiffany & Co.
Da’vine Joy Randolph
Da’Vine Joy Randolph of “The Holdovers” won the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role. At the ceremony, she opted for a custom Valdrin Shahiti design adorned with floral appliques. She accessorized with a pair of Dauphin drop earrings.
Pedro Pascal
To accept the award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series, “The Last of Us” star Pedro Pascal wore a Prada ensemble consisting of a white button-up, black trousers and leather loafers.
Elizabeth Debicki
Elizabeth Debicki took home the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series for her portrayal of Princess Diana in “The Crown.” The actress donned a pale blue dress by Armani Privé featuring intricate beading and lace detailing.
Ali Wong
Ali Wong, who won the award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series for “Beef,” opted for a sculptural Iris Van Herpen design from the label’s fall 2023 couture collection.
Founded in 1995, the Screen Actors Guild Awards solicit votes from members of the SAG-AFTRA union, which includes over 119,000 performers across the film and television industry. At the 30th annual ceremony, Jennifer Aniston will honor Barbra Streisand with the Life Achievement Award.
