Sarah Silverman's not too glam to do a pit check on the red carpet

You can take the girl out of the comedy club, but you can’t take the comedy club out of the girl.

Sarah Silverman cut a glamorous figure at Vanity Fair‘s celebration after the 2018 Oscars broadcast, which was hosted by her ex-boyfriend Jimmy Kimmel. That is, until she stopped on the red carpet to sniff her underarms.

The Battle of the Sexes star played up her comedic side as she struck a series of playful poses, proving that even the most divine strapless, peplum-waisted black gown can’t get in the way of a good joke. Also: No amount of fame can shield you from BO.

Confident that her deodorant was indeed working, Silverman headed into the party, where she was spied chatting to fellow guest Jon Hamm. She also caught up with actress Kate Beckinsale, the former partner of Silverman’s most recent ex, actor Michael Sheen.

Looking fine, feeling fresh, acting funny as heck … she can’t lose.
