This Savannah BBQ ranks high in Southern Living's best new Southern BBQ spots in 2024
One of Savannahs standout BBQ locations has earned a spot in Southern Living's list of 22 of the south's best new barbecue joints of 2024. It joins Owens & Hull of Smyrna as one of two Georgia locations.
South Carolina and Texas led the way with five BBQ restaurants on the list while Tennessee added three joints.

Slow Fire BBQ
Ranked 20th on Southern Living's list, Slow Fire BBQ, led by Pitmaster Terren Williams, has transformed a school bus into a barbecue haven at his forthcoming brick and mortar location at 1902 Waters Ave., Savannah.
Launched in January of 2023, this place is known for its locally-sourced beef and pork, as well as Lowcountry like shrimp-accented pork sausage.
Slow Fire prides itself on building strong relationships with local farmers, ensuring that the food is sourced responsibly and honestly. This allows customers to understand the journey of their food.
