When Will Season 3 of The Bear Be Released?

Deadline dropped the exclusive today that production on season three of The Bear will commence in Feb/March 2024.

Now, while there is no definitive date for when it will land, we can look to previous seasons to get an idea of when we may get to return to the 13-time Emmy-nominated kitchen.

What is The Bear?

The Bear was created by Christopher Storer and stars Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Abby Elliott.

Met with critical and commercial acclaim, it follows a young chef from the fine dining world who returns to Chicago to run his family's sandwich shop.

Season One Timeline

The first season of The Bear began filming in February 2022 and had a 30-day shoot that wrapped on March 31 2022.

Season one had eight half-hour episodes, and the turnaround was fast, with episodes released on June 23, 2022.

Season Two Timeline

They got to work right away on season two, with filming commencing in February 2023 and wrapping on April 28.

The shoot ran longer than that of season one because they had two additional episodes to get done for their ten-episode season.

Season two then landed on June 22, 2023, meaning there was just a two-month turnaround.

Season Three Timeline

If season three follows suit, then audiences can expect to be back in the kitchen in June 2024.

Filming will commence in late February/early March 2024, as per Deadline.
