COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – Several activities and events are scheduled for Red, White & BOOM! on July 3 leading up to the fireworks show.

At 11 a.m., a street festival will begin featuring more than 100 local and national vendors selling food, Pepsi products, adult beverages, glow sticks and more. The Ford Oval of Honor parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. The one-mile parade route kicks off at the corner of Main and Second streets, turns north on Front Street and concludes at Spring Street.

Numerous live entertainers will perform throughout the day, as seen below:

  • Noon: Joey & Jessica at Dorrian Green Stage

  • Noon: Elaina Arthur at Bicentennial Park Stage

  • 1:30 p.m.: Wednesday Wine at Dorrian Green Stage

  • 1:30 p.m.: The Alley Boys at Bicentennial Park Stage

  • 3 p.m.: CYNTsation at Dorrian Green Stage

  • 3 p.m.: Julia Neville at Bicentennial Park Stage

  • 4:30 p.m.: Cobra Kai at Dorrian Green Stage

  • 4:30 p.m.: Shake Machine at Bicentennial Park Stage

  • 6 p.m.: Chuck Starr at Dorrian Green Stage

  • 6 p.m.: All Star Jammerz at Bicentennial Park Stage

  • 7:30 p.m.: School of Rock at Dorrian Green Stage

  • 7:30 p.m.: Distorted Silence at Bicentennial Park Stage

  • 9 p.m. and 10:20 p.m.: The Twylights at Bicentennial Park Stage

  • 9:30 p.m. and 10:20 p.m.: The Martini Affair at Dorrian Green Stage

The fireworks show, known as the biggest in the Midwest, will start at 10 p.m. and last about 25 minutes. The colorful display will be shot over the river, fired within Genoa Park on the east side of COSI. The grand finale, presented by Franklin University, promises to be another show-stopper locals will not want to miss. NBC4 will broadcast the fireworks show live on television and online at NBC4i.com.
