Simone Biles Agrees a Taylor Swift Meet-Up at Packers-Chiefs Game Would be 'Really Cute'

Simone Biles, Taylor Swift

Simone Biles was recently pitched a bright idea, and it involves one of the most talked about new couples of the season.

People have, apparently, set their sights on a link-up between the Olympic gold medalist and Taylor Swift, being that now, the two have something in common. Biles' husband is Green Bay Packers safety Jonathan Owens, while the "Cruel Summer" singer has been exploring a relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce.

That said, Biles agreed to the idea that a photo op featuring them both would be "really cute"—a suggestion befittingly put out into the universe by Today show anchor Hoda Kotb ahead of the two NFL teams' face-off on Dec. 3.

The legendary gymnast visited the morning broadcast via video call on Thursday, Oct. 19, where she noted that she will, indeed, be there at the game to support her hubby. It became a topic of discussion after Kotb noticed a necklace she was wearing showcasing her new last name: "Owens."

“It’s been really fun supporting what he loves to do,” Biles said of Owens during the interview, adding, “My season just ended, so I’m super excited to get out there to Green Bay for the holidays to support him."

That's when the broadcast journalist found it the perfect time to bring up her idea: "I’d like to see you and Taylor [Swift]. It’d be really cute; it’d be a nice photo op.”

After Biles confirmed she'd be in attendance, Kotb doubled down on the suggestion. “Let’s just try to have a moment there if we can, okay?” she said, to which the legendary gymnast nodded and simply agreed, "Yes, okay... will do."

Though the "Bad Blood" songstress has already been present at three of Kelce's games over the past few weeks, she's headed back on the road for the International leg of her Eras Tour beginning on Nov. 9 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

As of now, Swift doesn't have a scheduled tour date for Dec. 3 when the Chiefs play the Packers, so fans will just have to wait and see if a connection with the most decorated gymnast in history comes to fruition!
