Skin-Care Products You've Never Heard of That Celebs Used at the Emmys
The beauty lineup used on the red carpet can be more predictable than the show time and speeches running long. That’s why we love it when an off-the-radar pick makes its way to the behind-the-scenes prep step. Here are some of our favorite finds from this year’s Emmys—a million Instagram followers not required.

Ceramiracle
The cruelty-free line from Santa Monica, CA prides itself on “prejudice-free beauty” and the brand’s The Essence ($75) and The Serum ($89) mix made up Felicity Huffman’s pre-foundation move. According to Huffman’s makeup artist, Austin Evans, the duo creates a “light layer of moisture” and a “smooth, hydrated canvas.”
We don’t know the EXACT product he used, but makeup maestro Daniel Martin tagged this clean and botanical hydration-focused line on Elisabeth Moss’s Instagram before The Handmaid’s Tale star hit the big show.
MyChelle
It’s not totally off-the-radar but the MyChelle line deserves its own award for Keri Russell’s skin, body and makeup trifecta last night. Makeup artist Tina Turnbow used MyChelle G2 Instant Firming Serum ($45), MyChelle Advanced Argan Oil ($11) on the face and body and MyChelle Ultra Hyaluronic Beauty Mist ($15) to prep Russell’s skin for her plum-palette look.
SK-II + BeautyBlender
In a match made in cult classic–beauty heaven, a BeautyBlender ($20) soaked with SK-II Facial Treatment Essence ($179) provided Yara Shahidi’s makeup artist Emily Cheng with a little extra “oomph” to create the star’s monochromatic watercolor-inspired look. The two well-known brands might be beyond the breaking-onto-the-scene phase, but Cheng’s genius way to use the concoction “provides an extra slip of moisture,” she says. “I find that the foundation will glide on with the extra hydration.”
Ashunta Sheriff
Taraji P. Henson gets mega bonus points in our book for going full disclosure with her Dermaflash prep before events. Last night, she didn’t disappoint and neither did her MUA, Ashunta Sheriff, who used the new hot pink Flash and skin care from her Ashunta Sheriff Beauty line, created in conjunction with YOUR NAME professional brands. “I used the Pore Perfecting Primer to even skin texture and help makeup last all night long,” Sheriff says.
