At 6:30 a.m.: The moon is square Mars
In the morning, the Gemini moon forms a square to Mars in Virgo, making us ill-tempered. We experience a disconnect between our desire for variety and the necessity of maintaining focus and staying on task. The people surrounding us are distracting, which warrants our irritability towards them. In all likelihood, we are self-sabotaging now, subconsciously placing ourselves in situations where we feel justified in losing concentration. Is completing the task at hand worth the emotional distress or relational drama? If it’s not possible to finish what’s on our agenda and keep our mood in check, it’s advisable to exit the scene until we are in a less critical mood.

At 5:42 p.m.: Juno is direct
In the late afternoon, Juno stations direct in Sagittarius. The goddess asteroid of devotion has been in retrograde motion since mid-April, helping us to carefully consider whether or not our long-standing commitments have been contributing to our personal growth, knowledge base, or freedom of movement. In this reflection, we may have parted ways with lovers, work obligations, or creative enterprises that were preventing us from exploring the world in a more deliberate way. If this has not transpired organically over the past few months, we will now find ourselves needing to make some firm choices as to what we really want, as well as potential preparations for moving on.
