At 03:23 AM: Asteroid Pallas goes direct
In the pre-dawn hours, Pallas stations direct in Pisces, having been in retrograde motion since July 14. Over the past four months, our creative strategies may have backfired on us. We assumed that the best way to accomplish our aims lay in appealing to others’ sensitivities, but tugging on heartstrings as a tactical measure may have seen us branded as coercive or manipulative. Reflecting on how our plans have gone off the rails has served a more important function: it has inspired us to question our beliefs and reconsider what forces we put our faith in, and why. Now, with Pallas again direct, we can reassume our initiatives without losing sight of our ethics or morals in the process.

At 08:05 AM: The moon is square Chiron
In the morning, the Capricorn moon squares off with Chiron in Aries, stimulating tension and insecurity. We believe we can prove our mettle by overcoming an obstacle, and if there is no obstacle readily apparent, we might manufacture one by adopting a petulant attitude. There is a push-pull here between thinking we know best and not wanting to take orders yet being averse to taking the lead. We set our bar low by shrugging off stimulating projects for ones that seem more achievable.
