“I love shrimp, and this appetizer gives me a great chance to highlight this little crus-tacean,” says Snoop Dogg of this recipe from his new cookbook, Snoop Dogg Presents Goon With the Spoon, co-authored with Earl "E-40" Stevens.

The key to his flavor-packed shrimp salad is an all-American seasoning blend, Old Bay. Snoop adds the pepper-and-paprika spiked blend to the shrimp cooking water as well as the mayo-based dressing for the shrimp salad. The salad is great on a salad or a sandwich, but it can also get a little fancy too.

“I serve my shrimp salad on crackers at parties, because it’s so easy to make but looks beautiful on a serving platter. Gotta shout out my Maryland peeps too: Y’all really snapped with Old Bay Seasoning, and it’s essential to get this salad just right.”
