Sofía Vergara Declares She's 'Trying to Have Fun' Amid Joe Manganiello Divorce
Sofía Vergara delved into how she's spent her summer of newfound singlehood amid divorce from Joe Manganiello.
In a new chat with ET, the America's Got Talent judge shared that she's spent her free time attending some of the season's hottest concerts.
"Anyone can learn a thing or two from Beyoncé," she enthused, expressing her awe towards the singer. "That was, I mean, she was spectacular! What a show!" She added, "Her daughter [Blue Ivy], her songs, her outfits, her body, I mean everything."
Besides being one of the many celebrity attendees at Beyoncé's birthday performance in Los Angeles, Vergara shared the other shows she's been to recently. "[We saw Karol G], and before Karol G was Taylor Swift," the 51-year-old said. "I mean, I don't think I've ever gone to so many concerts [in my life]."
When interviewer Denny Directo asked what sparked this interest in going to more shows than before, the Modern Family alum responded, "I don't know. I've been lucky! People have been inviting me out, you know, trying to have fun. So I've been going everywhere they invite me."
Besides being one of the lucky fans to catch Swift on her Eras tour, Vergara appeared to have a fantastic summer overall.
In July, she celebrated her birthday with an Italian vacation, posting various snaps from her trip on Instagram. Then, in August, she shared two photos of herself poolside in a hot pink one-piece bathing suit with niece Claudia Vergara, sipping on Miraval Rosé. She captioned it, "Que no se acabe el summer!??????," which translates to, "Don't let the summer end!"
Manganiello, 46, filed for divorce from the actress on July 19, two days after their separation was made public. They had been together for seven years.
