Soon You Can Swap Your Hair Color With Your BFF Like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid Did
Remember when supermodel BFFs Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid swapped hair colors for a day at Paris Fashion Week and broke the Internet? Their trippy wig trade-off was no doubt one of the biggest beauty stunts of 2016 so far.
According to The Business of Fashion, the wigs were from Balmain Hair Couture, the brand's high-end hair line that has actually been around since the '70s. The collection has everything from hair products, brushes, and the now-iconic wigs.
Apparently this was just a taste of what's to come, since the brand has major plans for 2016 to expand in the American market. Balmain Hair CEO Steward Guliker wants to reach young women who pay close attention to the model duo's every move. "Changing your lips from purple to red, that's nice and you can get a reaction," he told BoF. "But changing your hair - it's a shock effect. That's what people like to do [to] be noticed."
Soon, you too will be able rock golden blonde locks like Kendall ...
... or brown, sultry waves like Gigi.
