'Star Wars: The Old Republic' Receives Cinematic Trailer
Star Wars: The Old Republic, an MMORPG game set thousands of years before the Star Wars movies, has released a new stunning CGI cinematic titled "Disorder" for its latest Legacy of the Sith expansion.
While the Jedi Order has always been seen as the good guys and Sith, the bad, the new trailer questions the narrative as the Jedi recruitment process is revealed. In the 6-minute short film, Padawan Sa'har and her Jedi Master are engaged in a battle against antagonist Darth Malgus.
Just as Sa'har was about to destroy the mystical machine as instructed by her master, she's given glimpses of her past showing her brother enslaved after she was taken away from her family by the Jedi, leaving her torn and confused as to who to trust. "How many have died so that the Jedi can play god," said the antagonist Malgus as Sa'har was absorbed in the visions.
Take a look at the cinematic trailer above, and look for the saga to continue in future short films. Star Wars: The Old Republic's newest expansion Legacy of the Sith, is now available for free on Steam.
Elsewhere in gaming, Cyberpunk 2077 releases on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
