Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte Is Officially Back on the Menu, So Fall Starts Now
Maybe you consider the start of fall when the leaves start to change color. Or when you need a jacket in the early morning. Or when it’s too chilly to lay on the beach. For us, the season starts when Starbucks brings back its Pumpkin Spice Latte. And guess what? That day is today, Aug. 25!
This is the 17th year that Starbucks has had the PSL on the menu, so you can say that it’s become a fall signature. It’s a combination of espresso, steamed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove to give you the flavor of the season. Plus, you can get it in hot, iced, and blended varieties. But that’s not the only drink you’ll be drinking through August, September, October, and November.
After making its debut last year, the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew has also returned to the menu. The cold brew is sweetened with vanilla syrup and topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice topping. Who says you shouldn’t sip on iced drinks during the cooler months?
Don’t worry, Salted Caramel Mocha lovers, because your drink is back as well! The mocha sauce and toffee nut syrup is combined with coffee and steamed milk, and complete with sweetened whipped cream, caramel drizzle, and a turbinado sugar and sea salt blend. The sweet and salty combination is fit for a pumpkin patch! And you can get it as a Salted Caramel Mocha Frappuccino for when you’re not quite in the mood for a hot drink. You can even get the flavor at home with Starbucks’ new Salted Caramel Mocha Coffee Creamer that’s in stores now.
As you’d expect, Starbucks has also added in seasonal bakery items so your taste buds are treated to as many fall flavors as possible. While the Pumpkin Bread is available year-round, you can get the Pumpkin Scone and Pumpkin Cream Muffin for a limited time.
This is the earliest Starbucks has ever welcomed back the PSL, but we think all of us can agree that it’s very much needed. There’s no better way to start the day, and now all we
need are a cozy sweater and a pair of boots to complete the vibe.
