Starbucks Ushers in Spring With Sweet New Cold Brew Drink
Spring into the new season with your new favorite Starbucks flavor.
Listen up, Starbucks lovers!
The beloved coffee chain has announced its newest flavor, and it's just the sweet kick you need to make it through the last vestiges of winter.
Starting today, March 7, Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew is available to order in stores everywhere, and our mouths are watering just thinking about it.
The new flavor swirls the tastes of cinnamon and caramel into the classic Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew with a topping of cinnamon sweet cream cold foam and cinnamon dolce and is hitting the permanent menu, meaning it'll be available all year.
"Starbucks Nitro Cold Brew is slow-steeped and infused with nitrogen when it’s poured, creating a velvety, smooth coffee that is topped with a gorgeous cascade of cold foam," the official description from the brand's official announcement reads.
“Taking inspiration from salted caramels and gooey sticky buns, the new Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew is a lovely balance of decadent baking flavors with a delicate and creamy cold foam topping that seamlessly blends into the coffee with each sip,” Erin Marinan, Starbucks beverage developer, added. “This velvety smooth Nitro Cold Brew provides customers with a fresh take on the fan-favorite caramel flavor.”
Alongside the scrumptious new beverage, colorful new drinkware is hitting the shelves, featuring bright, watercolor swirls and other warm patterns on tumblers, cups, water bottles and mugs.
The news follows another recent innovation from the brand's Italian chains: coffee infused with olive oil. Italian locations are rolling out "Oleato," a line including Oleato Caffè Latte, Oleato Iced Shaken Espresso and Oleato Golden Foam Cold Brew, which combines Starbucks arabica coffee and a spoonful of Partanna cold pressed extra virgin olive oil.
