Suzanne Somers Celebrates 55-Year Relationship With Alan Hamel in Sweet Instagram Photos

The couple has been together since 1968.

Suzanne Somers is showing love for her longtime partner, Alan Hamel.

On Thursday, the Three's Company alum shared a throwback photo with her hubby of 46 years, alongside a recent picture of the couple together.

"Still smiling 55 years later #TBT," she captioned the sweet post.

The first decades-old image shows the two cozied-up on a grey couch, while in the second, they're styling in all-white ensembles in what looks to be a tropical setting.

Somers and Hamel have been an item since 1968, officially tying the knot in 1977. The actress often shows public affection for her spouse, taking to the social media platform in 2020 with a celebratory upload in honor of the duo's 44th wedding anniversary.

"My darling, @therealalanhamel - how I love being your wife. Married today 44 years and together 53 years!" she wrote at the time, adding, "I don't want to spend a day without you. What a life! Happy Anniversary!"

The two are still very much in love, as the Step by Step actress has been open about intimate moments in the pair’s relationship in past interviews. In 2021, Somers detailed how she and Hamel keep the spark alive after all these years on Daily Blast Live.

"I may be in my 70s now, and I always thought when I got in this decade that it would be over. And I just want people to know it ain't over if you know how to take care of yourself," she said on the broadcast, noting that, "Aging is about worn out parts, so your hormones start declining, your nutrients start declining, your minerals start declining."

She continued, divulging the spicy secret to their longevity. "Our kids are raised, we paid for the weddings, we paid for the education and it's now just me and Al. And, God, we are having a great time. Yes, we have a lot of sex because we're in balance, but also I have seven drinks a week too. At five o'clock every night, we have a tequila, and maybe that's why we have so much sex."

The couple's blended family includes three children—Bruce Somers Jr., Suzanne's son from a previous marriage, and Stephen and Leslie Hamel, whom Alan shares with ex-wife Marilyn Hamel.
