Taika Waititi Breaks Silence on Star Wars Film
Yes, the rumors are true. Taika Waititi is working on a Star Wars film.
Three years after word first started spreading the Thor: Love and Thunder director would be helming his own movie set in the Star Wars universe, Waititi has given us an update.
"At the moment, I'm still developing something with them. Like me, they have a lot of projects going on. I think they're gonna push it until I finish these other projects," Waititi told ET.

Waititi, of course, has lot of projects on his plate. He’s just released the Michael Fassbender sports comedy-drama Next Goal Wins, which dramatizes the true story of Thomas Rongen's efforts coaching the American Samoa national football team to 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification.
"I've got about four other scripts that I'm trying to finish,” says Waititi of his unannounced next projects. “My thing is I want to take my time with that and get it right. I don't want to rush this movie."
