Kelly Ripa says these tanning drops are 'remarkable' — and they're 50% off at HSN
Miss having glowy skin, but not near the beach? Kelly Ripa discovered a secret to maintaining an irresistible glow year-round. “They’re tanning drops,” she shared on Live with Kelly and Ryan. “You put them in your moisturizer, and then you put it on, and your tan develops gradually.” She adds, "They're kind of remarkable." Tan Luxe's The Body Self-Tan Drops — which are a Cyber Week steal for just $40 for a supersize bottle at HSN (was $80) — are packed with a nourishing blend of raspberry seed oil, aloe vera and vitamin E. And they’re so easy to use: Just add to your moisturizer and you’ve got yourself an instant self-tanner that you can customize to go as light or dark as you’d like. Choose from two colors: Light/Medium and Medium/Dark.
To put this deal into perspective, you're getting a supersize 95ml bottle for just $40 when a standard 50ml jar would set you back $60. That's a $20 savings for nearly double the amount!
Don't have $40 to spend right now? No problem! HSN's FlexPay program lets you make five easy installments of $8 instead. Pro tip: If you're a first-time HSN customer, you can save an additional $20 off your order of $40 or more by using the code HSN2022.
Ripa’s far from the formula’s only fan — plenty of HSN shoppers love it, too.
One writes: “I really like this product. You don't have an orange tone like most. The only issue is make sure to wash your hands well and in-between your fingers or you may get some tint. Applied a few days in a row to get the tan look I was looking for and it lasted a lot longer than the other brand and did not come off when taking a shower.”
Another raved about how the tanner doesn't rub off: “I've tried several self-tanners and this one is a keeper. I got the light medium, as I just wanted something to give my legs and arms a little glow for a wedding I was going to. No streaking, no fourth-day splotchiness, no color on the sheets...very happy and it seems to go a long way."
Ripa did have a word of warning for those who like to go a little heavy-handed with their tanner: Don’t.
After going on a “deep dive” of Tan Luxe’s other tanning products, she got a little too overzealous and used them all at the same time.
“If you start putting on all these things at once, you can develop tans on parts of your body more so than other parts,” she shares. This led to her husband, Mark Consuelos, waking up and calling her out on her “brown nose.”
“If you look at me without the makeup on, in a certain light, I kind of look like a Rorschach test,” Ripa joked.
Moral of the story: Use one product at a time — and prepare for plenty of compliments.
