Taylor Swift Holds Court in Shiny Green Dress by Gucci at Golden Globes 2024

Taylor Swift arrived on the red carpet for the 2024 Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles in a custom-designed, sparkling, green Gucci dress custom designed by Sabato de Sarno.

She coordinated the dress with green leather pumps from Christian Louboutin, and accessorized the look with De Beers jewelry, including diamond earrings and a diamond ear cuff.

To create her look for this year’s Golden Globe Awards, Swift worked with her go-to stylist Joseph Cassell. Cassell has dressed Swift in brands such as Roberto Cavalli, Versace and Elie Saab.

Swift is up for a nomination at this year’s Golden Globe Awards for Cinematic and Box Office Achievement for her film “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour,” the film version of her extremely successful Eras Tour which kicked off in America last year and is now on its international run. Cinematic and Box Office Achievement is a new Golden Globes category recognizing films that have grossed more than $100 million domestically and $150 million worldwide.

Swift’s Eras Tour was credited with sparking fashion trends, such as sequins and fringe dresses. The hashtag #theerastourlooks has over 53 million views on TikTok.

Swift’s Eras Tour wardrobe was also styled by Cassell, who made glitter and sparkle a major part of the tour aesthetic. Some of Swift’s looks included a paillette Oscar de la Renta dress, a sequin embellished Zuhair Murad gown and a red sequin duster coat from Ashish.

The 81st annual Golden Globe Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, celebrate the biggest achievements across film and television in 2023. It is produced by Dick Clark Productions, which is owned by WWD parent company Penske Media Corp. Ahead of the ceremony, WWD hosted its first real-time red carpet digital show, co-hosted by Jeannie Mai, highlighting the looks from the red carpet arrivals. On Monday, WWD will reveal the winners of its Style Awards during the red carpet recap on wwd.com/golden-globes at 10 a.m. ET.
