Braun Old Spice ($31) The collaboration between Old Spice and Braun comes in a fun bright red color. It charges for up to 40 minutes and comes with two adjustable beard guides to offer a dozen different lengths. Wahl Lithium Ion + ($70) The stainless steel trimmer is the sleekest of the bunch and charges for up to an hour. It’s a good option for guys who want to rock a lot of beard styles, or who have fuller beards thanks to 12 guide combs that can create a dozen different lengths. It also features a detail shaver and trimmer for creating a variety of facial hair options (goatees, moustaches, the options are endless. There’s an ear, nose, and brow trimmer too. As the Senior Writer at Yahoo Beauty, testing out products comes with the territory. But when we decided to find out which beard trimmers stood up to the test, we had to bring in a new guinea pig—my husband Brooks. Thankfully he was totally game, buying a special notepad for the project, and obsessively studying, testing, and writing about the pros and cons of five top trimmers. A new beauty editor is born? Quite possibly. He’s already angling for his next assignment. In the meantime, here’s the scoop on the coolest beard trimmers on the market.
