Think Ability to host Succulent Bar craft night
Sep. 9—Community members will gather together for a little plant therapy to create their own unique succulent on Sept. 14.
Think Ability will host a Succulent Bar from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 14, at The Garden Hub. The cost for the class event is $25 per person and will include either a succulent or air plant, as well as one pot, soil, rock topping and a decorative stake.
Lisa Hatchett, event coordinator, said the Succulent Bar is designed to be a family friendly do-it-yourself event.
"You pick out your own stuff," she said. "You pick out your plant, you pick out your pot, you get to pick out your rock topping, so it's truly build your own."
Hatchett said this is an event where children are welcome to join their parents to create a succulent display for added fun.
There will be additional plants and larger pots available for an extra cost.
To pre-register for the event, contact The Garden Hub at 580-606-6788. The deadline to pre-register is 6 p.m. Sept. 11.
