Tiffani Thiessen Channels 'Saved by the Bell' Character in Nostalgic Video
Tiffani Thiessen is looking back on her Kelly Kapowski era.
The actress recently took to Instagram with a montage clip of moments from her time on the iconic '90s sitcom Saved By the Bell, where she channeled her former character from the show, the aforementioned Kelly Kapowski.
Set to the tune of the series' theme song, composed by Scott Gale and performed by Michael Damian, a young Thiessen can be seen on-set of the show, before the video cuts to a current snippet of herself walking by. Identical to her character's outfit in the episode, she sported a red cropped tee along with black spandex biker shorts—à la prime late '80s fashion, of course.
The now 49-year-old even gave the camera a hair flip, a reminder to fans that after all these years, she's still got it!
"Time flies," the caption of the June 29 upload read.

In the comments of the social media post, fans went wild over the throwback, as well as the memories that flooded in along with it.
"Everyone’s 90’s favorite it girl. Every girl wanted to be Kelly kapowski??," one admitted, as another joked, "Kelly Kapowski was always too good for Zach ??," referencing her on-and-off love interest in the teen sitcom, Zack Morris, portrayed by actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar.
"Omg you haven’t aged!! It’s crazy," a third marveled, while another agreed, "Gorgeous then and even more gorgeous now!"
An additional Instagram user called the character "forever iconic," as someone else remembered having Kelly Kapowski posters on their wall as an adolescent.
Saved By the Bell premiered in 1989 on NBC, and ran through 1993, seeing four seasons. A follow-up series to the sitcom was later revived decades later, airing in 2020 on Peacock's streaming service, and included cameos from some members of the original cast.
