The A-list film star was accompanied by the film's director, Christopher McQuarrie, who Cruise affectionately called his "creative brother," in video footage of his appearance in Atlanta on Tuesday, July 11.

In the clip, shared to Twitter by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, featured Cruise addressing the crowd and thanking them for coming out to see the new film.

"You definitely dream of moments like this. This is amazing. This theater here. This big screen. And we just wanted to say hello to y'all," Cruise could be heard saying. "I hope you enjoy the film. We made it for you."
