Tons of ‘Mad Men’ Memorabilia Is Going Up for Auction
Mad Men fans, prepare to have a cow. The show may be over, but now, you can own a piece of it FOREVER.
Starting Friday, July 31 at noon PDT, nearly 1,400 items from the AMC series—everything from 1960s clothing to accessories, gadgets and literal garbage—will be going up for auction on ScreenBid.
Many of the pieces, including a painting from Pete’s living room, Betty’s hairbrushes, and Joan’s leather heels, have a starting bid of just $50. Others, like Stan’s leather peacoat, Don’s shaving kit, and Don’s sunglasses, begin at $150. And for those deep pocketed Mad Men die-hards, you can even buy Mr. Draper’s 1965 Cadillac Coupe DeVille—with bids opening at $1,500.
There are also those things that could end up getting tossed in the recycling after a party if you aren’t careful, like retro soda cans and liquor bottles. But personally, I’ve got my eye set on this bloody rag, soiled by Pete Campbell’s manhandled mistress, Brenda, in season 6. Kidding! (Kind of.)
Happy bidding!
