The Grammy Award-nominated, Dove Award-winning Nashville worship leader and singer-songwriter brings her U.S. tour to Fort Myers. 3. Fort Myers Art Walk

The monthly event in downtown Fort Myers features new art exhibits at downtown galleries, receptions, live music and art vendors outside on First Street. This month’s exhibits include the vibrant, intricate paintings of Brian Weaver (half of local mural-painting duo Artsemble Underground) at Davis Art Center and the stream-of-consciousness art prints of Michael V. The buff saxophonist is probably best known for his shirtless beach-party performance in the classic 1987 vampire movie “The Lost Boys.” The singer-songwriter has also played with Peter Gabriel, Carly Simon, Tina Turner and Ringo Starr. Cinema with the Symphony summer film series: ‘Green Book’

The orchestra continues its new film series at Bell Tower with “Green Book.” Based on a true story, the popular 2018 drama follows an Italian-American bouncer who takes a job driving a Black pianist on a 1962 tour of the Deep South. Lee County Black History Society director Autumn Watkins Holloway introduces the film and talks about its significance for Southwest Florida. 6:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11 (pre-screening talk at 6 p.m.). $20. Broadway Palm’s 'Murder on the Orient Express'

Broadway Palm usually does nothing but musicals on its main stage. Now it’s trying something different: A stage adaptation of Agatha Christie’s much-loved murder mystery, “Murder on the Orient Express.” The story ― adapted into a 2017 movie starring Johnny Depp, Judi Dench and more ― involves an American tycoon stabbed to death on a passenger train.
