Tori Spelling Reveals How She’s ‘Gotten So Lazy’ With Her Youngest Son’s Back-To-School Routine
Back-to-school time is so, so stressful for everyone involved: teachers, students, and parents. And Tori Spelling recently talked about the way she’s gotten “lazy” with her youngest child, son Beau, during back-to-school season.
On the Aug. 27 episode of her podcast, the MisSPELLING podcast, she talked to Debbie Gibson about dressing Beau for school the night before.

“It’s so bad. I’ve gotten so lazy with my youngest one because there’s so many, that at night I put him in his clothes for the next day,” she said. “And convinced him that it’s cool to do that.”
She then added how she “rationalized” this, saying, “So, he has dinner, he takes his bath — sometimes— but then I’ll be like, ‘Hey, dude. It will save an extra five minutes if we get dressed now and then you can sleep later.’ And I can sleep later, wink wink. So he’s like, ‘Yeah.’ So, he sleeps in his clothes.”
She then joked, “Am I a bad mom?”
Every parent has something to make the morning routines simpler, and celebs are no different. And once again, Spelling tells her unapologetic, unfiltered ways of parenting proudly as a mom of five.
For those who don’t know, Spelling has five children named Liam Aaron (born in March 2007), Stella Doreen (born in June 2008), Hattie Margaret (born in Oct 2011), Finn Davey (born in Aug 2012), and Beau Dean (born in March 2017).
In a previous interview with SheKnows about the back-to-school season, she told us how she handles it as a mom of five.
“Transitioning from summer to a back-to-school routine is so tough, especially for me as a mom of five. I think parents everywhere can relate that it’s overwhelming to have to choose what to shop for, plus also juggling multiple school drop-offs and pickups,” she said. “Little things like prepping my kids’ lunches in advance with snacks I know they will enjoy making a big difference in getting back to the routine.”
