Tracee Ellis Ross, 49, shares workout: 'Looking for my summer abs'
Tracee Ellis Ross is looking supreme in her latest Instagram post.
The Girlfriends star shared a 33-second video of her working out on Monday, captioning the photo "looking for my summer abs."
She embarked on her latest quest for a toned stomach in a black two-piece workout set with her hair cornrowed to the back.
Fans filled Ross's comments with words of encouragement, compliments and inquiries about the status of their own abs.
"Were you able to find mine?" asked one user.
"Well when you find them see if they've been hanging out with mine. You look amazing, please you're goal inspiring," shared another.
Others let Ross know that she looks fantastic, no matter what.
"Girl, we can trade since you're looking for yours. I look like I'm about 8 months pregnant. #perimenopauseisnojoke," commented one user.
"This woman makes me laugh so hard, what a riot," wrote another.
Ross's summer abs may still be en route but the Black-ish actress is far from a fitness novice.
In the past, Ross has posted about her fondness for Gyrotonics, a specialized workout that utilizes custom-designed Gyrotonic equipment.
The Pattern Beauty founder has also shared snippets of her "pushing through," her strength training workouts on Instagram in October 2021.
The mogul is also a big fan of Tracy Anderson's workouts, as she has shared on her Instagram in the past.
But if the old adage that abs are made in the kitchen is true, then Ross is seemingly on the right track in that regard as well.
"I like simple, whole foods," Ross told People in 2016 adding that she is careful not to restrict herself, choosing instead to prioritize happiness in all facets of her wellness routine.
"I love going to one of my favorite restaurants once a week to have a glass of wine and a delicious meal, I don't restrict my eating to firm meal times. I eat in the same philosophy that I live with: joyfully," she said.
