Trader Joe's Just Dropped Its Tiniest Snack Ever, and You Can Eat Hundreds In One Sitting

Sometimes, the best things in life come in the tiniest packages. Sure, it’s nice to embrace a more is more attitude (and we usually do), but we can all agree that you can certainly have too much of a good thing. Thankfully, the new year is a chance to start anew, and that often means downsizing to make room for all of the abundance to follow.

When it comes to starting over, Trader Joe’s is no stranger to a refresh and often makes room for new and exciting products to take center stage as the seasons change. In stark contrast with the indulgence of the holidays, the beginning of the year often sees shoppers opting for smaller portions of their favorite foods, and of course, TJ’s is poised to deliver.

Gone are the massive, shareable, all-butter cookies of yesteryear. Instead, the retailer took things in a massively miniature direction and dropped a teensy tiny cookie we can’t wait to get our hands on. Bags of the Tiniest Chocolate Chip Cookies started popping up on Trader Joe’s shelves this week, and it’s the perfect bite-sized treat for when you just need a little something sweet.

The adorably microscopic cookies are made with real butter and what could probably be considered the world’s smallest chocolate chips. As small as the delicious morsels are, like most TJ’s products, this one is bound to deliver big on flavor. If you weren’t sold on the size, a serving of the mini sweets amounts to a whopping 65 cookies, which clocks in at just 120 calories! Now, there’s no excuse not to enjoy most (if not all) of the bag before you get home.

Though you can’t necessarily classify cookies as health food, the small size of these craveably poppable treats means they won’t derail you from your fitness goals for the year. If you happen to stop by Trader Joe’s to grab a bag (or two) of the delicious sweets, it’ll only set you back about $4. And what’s better than starting the year off on a sweet note, especially one as adorable as this?
