Trader Joe's Shoppers Are Calling This Sauce a 'Top 3' Item

Imagine this: you’re prepping for Thanksgiving, and you’ve decided that this is your year to win the unofficial culinary Olympics. You’ve sourced all the best recipes and have been diligently following along, making sure you remember to pull the turkey out at precisely 165°F. As you’re pulling your expertly prepared bird out of the oven, you notice your cranberry sauce is boiling over, you smell the rice burning, and you realize you forgot to add baking soda to the cake batter. Aye caramba!

If this turkey-day horror story sounds familiar, it might be time to phone a friend and head to your nearest grocery store for some easy-to-prepare holiday reinforcements. Nowadays, it’s easier than ever to find to-die-for dishes that require little to no effort to whip up.

Our favorite place to shop for simple, affordable and (thoroughly) delicious additions to our usual Thanksgiving spread is none other than the oasis that is Trader Joe’s. While the perfect sauce to pair with your intricately curated grazing board this year is up for debate, Trader Joe’s Bruschetta Sauce proves to be a strong contender for the number one spot.

The “sauce” is simply made by blending juicy chopped Roma tomatoes, fruity virgin olive oil, herbaceous chopped basil, garlic, and spices to create the perfect topping for crusty bread.

Taste aside, the delectable spread is incredibly versatile and can be used as a marinade or quick pasta sauce, and it even goes great with fish. If you’re reluctant to add the impossibly fresh condiment to your shopping cart, a recent post on the dedicated TJ’s Reddit thread might just sway you in the opposite direction.

An obvious fan, the creator of the post shared that the “Bruschetta sauce is top 3 at TJ for me!” The user divulged that they enjoy the sauce with another fan-favorite product exclusive to the grocer. “Today I am eating it on toast with a schmear of the Unexpected Cheddar Spread and Parmesan on top.” We have to say, the combo sounds incredibly delicious.

A 14.5-ounce container of the good stuff can be yours for only $3.99 and needless to say, we’re already on our way to our nearest TJ’s to pick up a container (or two). And while you're there, don't forget to check out the 27 'holy grail' items that Trader Joe's fans can't get enough of.
