Travis Kelce Has Heated Exchange With Teammate During 'Training Camp Fight'

Look what training camp made him do!

Travis Kelce found himself in a bit of a kerfuffle this week while training with his Kansas City Chiefs teammates to gear up for the upcoming NFL season.

While the group of football players were practicing at Missouri Western State University on Wednesday, June 24, as part of training camp, Kelce ended up having to tackle some unsportsmanlike behavior occurring between two players on the field.

As seen in new video footage obtained by KC Sports Network, defensive end George Karlaftis could be seen laying out teammate Kadarius Toney in what appeared to be an overly aggressive tackle for a practice play.

Toney, 25, a wide receiver for the Chiefs, was hurled onto the turf as a result of the tackle, before he stood up and chucked the football at Karlaftis in response—and he clearly wasn't the only one who found issue with the play.

Kelce, 34, could then be seen running over to Karlaftis, 23, before giving him a swift shove to the chest. Taylor Swift's boyfriend also appeared to exchange some heated words with his teammate, while the rest of the players gathered around to break up the tense situation.

Apparently, getting into fights during training camp isn't exactly uncommon for Kelce, who had more than a few tiffs with some teammates last year, too.

"I was pretty fired up," he previously admitted of his 2023 training camp spats, which even caused him to publicly apologize for "throwing hands" with one of his teammates.

"Gotta be a better teammate gotta be a better leader...plain and simple," he wrote on X at the time, even though some members of Chiefs Kingdom think Kelce's heated energy could be a good sign for the Kansas City team's energy in the upcoming season.

"Last time Kelce got into a fight they won the Super Bowl," one account wrote in reference to the Chiefs' most recent season.

"This what we want. Killa Trav fighting at camp last season. Super Bowl win," someone else wrote, adding, "Let's go boys."
